The Native CDFI Network will be holding its first annual meeting that will include Capitol Hill visits and the board of directors appointments.
First Nations Oweesta Corporation Annual Native Gathering will be held in Washington, DC on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
A welcoming reception will also be held that evening 6:00-8:00 pm. Room information TBD.
Oweesta Native CDFI Awards Reception and Ceremony will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017.
The Native CDFI Network’s South Dakota Regional Community Development Forum will be held in Deadwood, SD.
The forum will explore and highlight innovative and sustainable Native economic development models from researchers, Native community development practitioners, philanthropic organizations and Native/Non Native Partnerships. Attendees will also engage in a dialogue about the barriers that exist within Native communities, and identify strategies for each identified challenge. The outcomes from the Forum will be a first step to developing a plan or blueprint of strategies, for Native community development in the region.Download Save the Date Postcard
