Chartered in 1993 by the Seneca Nation of Indians Tribal Council, SNIEDC is a specialized financial institution that works in market niches that are underserved by traditional financial institutions.
The CDFI Fund announced that 218 organizations received $27.57 million in Technical Assistance awards to build their capacity to provide services to low-income and underserved people and communities across America. NCN has been awarded $150,000 from the NACA Program for Technical Assistance.
Chrystel Cornelius, President and CEO of Oweesta Corporation, received the Heinz Award for the Economy for her work addressing centuries of disenfranchisement that have led to profound socioeconomic disparities for Native communities.

Chartered by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation (CPN), CPCDC provides capital and technical assistance for projects that create a healthy tribal economy through a commercial loan program designed to help Native businesses become more competitive and profitable.
