At the Native CDFI Network’s next NCN Live webinar, attendees will learn how Native CDFIs can access funding through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 7a Loan Program as Community Advantage Small Business Lending Companies (CA SBLCs). Designed specifically to support mission lenders such as Native CDFIs, the CA SBLC license is described as a “force multiplier” tool to increase access to capital for small businesses and can be particularly valuable in leveraging additional dollars for Clean Communities Investment Accelerator (CCIA)-based lending projects.
Joining NCN Live on Thursday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. ET to share about the CA program will be Katie Frost, Associate Administrator with SBA’s Office of Capital Access. Frost will provide an overview of how Native CDFIs can become an SBA-approved CA SBLC lender as well as the benefits of CA participation for Native CDFIs and the small businesses they serve.
