Join us from September 9-11 to explore how CDFIs + Clean Energy Finance = Jobs + Native Household Savings! This event connects Native CDFIs, housing experts, community leaders, and regional partners to discuss strategies to build sustainable Native economies.

This three-day event will take place in two locations. It is recommended that you fly into Bangor International Airport (BGR) and rent a vehicle for transportation.

Bangor Area

This three day event will begin on Monday, September 9 with a welcome luncheon and community tour of Penobscot Nation on Indian Island, near Bangor. Four Directions Development Corporation will share the history of Four Directions and area tribes that will set the context for ‘where we’ve been’ and their vision for the future.

Carrabassett valley

Tuesday through Wednesday conference days will be held at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel. The conference will include workshops and a speaker line-up hosted by NeighborWorks America and the Native CDFI Network. Sessions will focus on best practices for workforce development, youth development, housing needs, and household savings with an emerging Clean Energy Finance market that centers Native CDFIs as the cornerstone.
