The Native CDFI Network (NCN) sent a letter to Congressional leadership requesting a $50 million appropriation for the CDFI Fund’s Native American CDFI Assistance (NACA) Program for FY 2024.

Featuring a total of 65 organizational co-signatories, the letter requests this increased funding amount for FY 2024 based on the considerable unmet capital needs of Native CDFIs, as well as the significant return on investment that dollars provided to Native CDFIs produces in terms of economic benefits.

In addition to a significant number of Native CDFIs, the letter’s supporting co-signatory organizations included the African American Alliance of CDFI CEOs, National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders, National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development and Prosperity Now. NCN extends a special “thank you” to all of the organizations who signed on support!

NCN encourages its members and other key stakeholders to share this letter with their Congressional representatives.
