The Office of Tribal Relations will hold the first meeting of the Tribal Advisory Committee on February 23, 2024. The committee is authorized under the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (the 2018 Farm Bill) and operates in compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The purpose of the committee is to provide advice and guidance to USDA on matters related to Tribal and Indian affairs.
Native CDFI leaders are encouraged to attend and provide comment on the need for agriculture capital in Native communities.
