The goal of this series is to introduce basic solar topics for community financing institutions and help you understand the next steps in offering renewable and energy efficiency benefits to your communities. Each session will consist of a presentation with members of the CPA team, followed by Q&A. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up for the Community Power Accelerator platform. Session 2: Introduction to Solar Development & Financing and signing up for the Community Power Accelerator Platform—November 1, 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. ET

- Outline the important federal, state, and local policy and regulatory implications that impact a project’s feasibility and financials

- Introduce different contracting types and terms
- Discuss the role of community financial institutions in contributing to community energy challenges
- Highlight the potential benefits for financial institutions of providing solar financing products
