The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency will co-host a webinar focused on supporting affordable housing and small businesses for Native American veterans in North and South Dakota. Financial institutions, CDFIs, non-profit organizations, community based organizations, federal, state and local government, and other stake holders are invited to attend.
This webinar will feature two community based organizations, the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC), servicing North and South Dakota, that offers services to veterans interested in opening small businesses, and the South Dakota Native Homeowners Coalition that works to increase access to homeownership resources for Native American veterans in South Dakota by focusing on matters addressing housing stock and land issues, homebuyer education, and subsidies.
